One of the most Zen and visually stunning restaurants in downtown Montreal. The dim sum is limited but the menu is pretty fantastic overall.
My wife and I had our Wedding there on September 23rd. All our guest were extremely pleased with the venue. The place is gorgeous, Food quality and quantity was great and the service was superb. We would also like to give special thanks to Chef Yi for helping us with all of our little demands. He met us personally at least 10 times and took care of all of our concern. It was a memorable night for us and were glad to have chosen Chez Chine restaurant.
The Dim-sum is awesome here, plus its probably the nicest restaurant in Chinatown.
I went there a few years ago. Very beautiful decor. I tasted Pekingese duck which served crispy skin with pancakes, green onions, cucumber or squash? The cook prepared 2 other dishes with the rest of the meat. It was good.
Very nice restaurant!
Food was pretty good, staff was alright, but the atmosphere is really pretty.
What a gem! Did not expect to see a nicely designed restaurant. We didn’t realize that the restaurant was inside the holiday inn on the second floor until we got there. Food was good and a little on the pricier side ($$$). Bathroom situation was weird because you need to be a guest and have a key to use the washrooms. Apart from that, it was all very nice. Staff was so polite!
Excellent restaurant; dumplings. dimsum, soup everything was very good!Good service !
Me and wife had our wedding ceremony last week there and It was exactly what chef Yi and Brian did for us MENU,SERVICES,FOOD!!!Guys chapeau!!!!If you want something simple and original well ask for chef Yi or Brian. They will be more than happy to direct you to what you need.Patrick & Karin Shawna
The environment is good and the dishes look much cleaner than other Chinese restaurants.
Amazing environment, delicious foods, wonderful services.
I should have known from the worn menus, which looked 20 years old, that this was a bad choice. Mediocre, overpriced Americanized Chinese food soaked in MSG. Waiter wouldn't let us order fried dumplings separate from one of the prix fix menus, had to get the manager to get this for my 6 year old (who loves fried dumplings.) This place was not even worth the fact that our three kids ate free. Walk half a block for many better options.
We love their dimsum! So good! Especially the shrimp dumpling! Their BBQ duck is the best! Our kids love the fish pond!
The staff are rude n not at all friendly. They stopped us at the door and showed us the menu to see tat they hav very few options for vegetarians.they didnt even wait for us to sit..We are vegetarian but its not written on our foreheads.wonder wat gave them tat impression. We were already staying at d hotel n didnt expect tat kind of attitude.VEGETARIANS ARE NOT WELCOME THERE..eh..they r nyway rude y bother to go..
Good dim sums
Very delicious food, good service
Lunch: Quickly place at a table. The coffee is served quickly but the coffee is not of good quality, bitter. I waited a good 15 minutes to receive the menu that I never had. So I took the buffet. I received the invoice in the middle of my meal and on the invoice they included the 15% service. The server of this gene does not surround the place reserved for the tip. The buffet food is ok. In a continental style with the traditional American (egg, ham ...) good variety of fruits. Relaxing and charming ambiance in a decor. Asian. If you have a room. There is a possibility of a package but they do not mention it when you enter. If you have a room and kids ... they eat for FREE. Experience in general ... ok. I think there is a lot to improve for a kitchen in a 4 diamond hotel!
A beautiful restaurant with affordable prices (about 30.00$ a head for a four course meal) and the food is great. Only cons are the unfriendly staff and the Hip Hop playing on the radio. We even asked why this beautiful Asian setting was complimented with such awful music and were simply told «that’s what appeals to American visitors»... In Chinatown… In the middle of Montréal…. A shame. If you can live with the music (it doesn’t play loud or anything) and don’t mind curt service, this one is a memorable experience. Recommended.
Excellent foods..However ... Service a big zero. Service in French another big zero
I ate a whole roasted duck. It was so good!
Dim sum and dumplings we were sickWe had been sick🤢 terrible food
Just a beautiful spot for enjoying very authentic Chinese food
Just horrible! Card poorly made problems to understand too many dishes and very poorly digest the next day! Strongly discourages you !!
